Women in Cisilion: Building Community, Confidence and Conversations That Matter

At Cisilion, we believe that diverse voices make technology stronger. Our Women in Cisilion community continues to grow with a clear mission: to connect, support and elevate women across all roles and career stages.

Over the past quarter, we’ve seen this community come to life through powerful events, leadership engagement, and meaningful partnerships, all focused on empowering women to connect, learn and lead.

A Clear Vision for Change

The Women in Cisilion committee has been working behind the scenes to formalise our vision, mission and values, ensuring the community is driven by purpose, clarity and impact. Our vision is to create a workplace where every woman at Cisilion feels empowered, valued, and supported to thrive in their careers, well-being, and personal growth. Rooted in Cisilion’s vision to go beyond expectations, we aim to transform not just technology for our clients, but also the culture within our business, ensuring inclusion and opportunity for all. These guiding principles shape everything we do, from the events we host to the conversations we encourage, helping us create a supportive environment where women can thrive professionally and personally.

Women in Tech: Confronting Conversations

A major highlight of the quarter was the launch of Women in Tech: Confronting Conversations, hosted in partnership with Cisco. The event brought together women across the technology ecosystem to explore real, often challenging topics around leadership, wellbeing and personal growth.

Cisilion’s own, Georgia, delivered a compelling session on Building Your Personal Brand: A Gateway to Opportunity, while Stacie Hill facilitated an engaging fireside conversation with Sarah Walker, Chief Executive UK&I at Cisco, focused on Wellbeing and Leadership. The event marked the start of an ongoing series designed to create safe, honest dialogue and foster peer-led learning within the industry.

The success of the launch reinforced just how important these spaces are, not only for sharing experiences, but for building confidence and connection across organisations.

Women Leading the AI Conversation

We’re also proud to see women from Cisilion contributing to wider industry discussions. Mini Biswas, Modern Work, Security and AI Specialist at Cisilion, recently took part in a senior female leadership roundtable hosted by Tenth Revolution Group, where AI was the central theme. The discussion explored how organisations are adopting AI platforms, the challenges businesses and financial services clients face, and what the future holds for AI in the sector.

Participation in forums like these ensures women are represented at the table when strategic technology decisions are being shaped.

Celebrating Progress and Achievements

This quarter also saw numerous personal and professional milestones across the business – from career progression and probation successes to new joiners strengthening our teams. Celebrating these moments is a core part of our culture, reinforcing the importance of visibility and recognition for women in technology.

Alongside this, we continue to spotlight individuals across Cisilion who are making an impact, sharing their stories to inspire others and highlight the diverse paths into and through the tech industry. Becky Herdman, Sales Support Team Lead was recently spotlighted to highlight her recent promotion into a team lead position.

Partnerships That Matter

Our commitment to inclusion extends beyond Cisilion. We’re proud to be part of broader initiatives such as Cisco’s Women of Cisco community and to promote access to mentoring opportunities, leadership training and more.

These partnerships play a vital role in expanding networks, sharing knowledge and creating long-term change across the industry.

Looking Ahead

The momentum behind Women in Cisilion continues to build. As we move forward, our focus remains on creating inclusive spaces, amplifying voices, and supporting women to succeed, whether that’s through leadership conversations, mentoring, events or community-building.

We’re excited about what’s next and proud of the collective progress being made by women across Cisilion and the wider technology community.

Happy International Women’s Month 😊
