I am James Drew, Account Director at Cisilion

Radiant, Resourceful & Reliable (3 R’s :))

Who is your biggest inspiration and why?

This Is likely a huge cliché, but my dad was/ still Is my biggest Inspiration. x3 personas rolled into one, he was my best friend, a father and my phycologist, who taught me the values of dedication, respect for others and hard work. Lost his battle with Cancer, it’s now on me to win the war.

What does going Beyond Expectations mean to you?

It involves exceeding standards, whether that be performance, service, creativity, or problem-solving. Going beyond expectations entails a commitment to continuous improvement, pushing boundaries, and delivering exceptional value or experiences that leave a lasting and positive impression.

Why did you join Team Cisilion?

The company’s ethos and culture, prioritising the delivery of customer value through cutting-edge and innovative technologies, along with robust leadership, immediately caught my attention and I knew from day one, that I wanted to be a part of the journey.

What are you most looking forward to about working at Cisilion?

What I’m most looking forward to about working at Cisilion is the opportunity to immerse myself in a culture that values innovation and excellence. I’m excited to collaborate with a team that is passionate about leveraging cutting-edge technologies to deliver impactful solutions to industry challenges. Additionally, I’m eager to learn from the strong leadership and contribute my skills and expertise towards driving positive change and delivering exceptional value to my customers.

What are you most proud of about your career so far?

I’d say the proudest aspect of my career to date Is the connections I’ve made. Hands down the lasting relationships developed through the multitude of projects and challenges I encountered with various customers have enriched my professional journey. These people (Customers and Colleagues) (And they know who they are) are a testament to my commitment to building trust in every interaction. They not only highlight my ability to deliver results but also underscore the importance of building strong partnerships based on shared goals.

What are your long-term career aspirations?

My long-term career aspirations revolve around continuous growth, both personally and professionally. I aim to take on increasingly challenging opportunities that allow me to expand my skills, knowledge, and leadership capabilities. Ultimately, I aspire to make a meaningful impact at Cisilion. I envision myself evolving into a strategic leader who inspires others, drives results, and contributes to the success and growth of the organisation.

What is a professional goal of yours?

A professional goal of mine is to establish myself as a lead Account Director at Cisilion. In this role, I aim to contribute to my team’s success and become a role model for new and existing team members. Leveraging my expertise, I intend to drive strategic initiatives and achieve exceptional results through effective teamwork.

What is a personal goal of yours?

A personal goal of mine is to prioritise my well-being and achieve a healthy work-life balance. This includes dedicating more time to those I care about, such as spending quality time with loved ones, pursuing hobbies like hiking, pool and racing, as well as focusing on self-care practices such as exercise. By nurturing my personal well-being, I believe I’ll be better equipped to thrive both professionally and personally.
