Q: What made you choose us over other opportunities?

A: I really resonated with Cisilion’s drive to go ‘beyond expectations’, but it was also a blend of the team, strategy and ambition. There’s a real sense of momentum and culture of collaboration.

Q: What was your first impression of the company culture?

A: Focused, friendly, capable, and ambitious.

I’m genuinely excited by the opportunity in front of us. The team is strong, capable, committed, and already doing great work. But what really stands out is the headroom for growth.

Q: What kind of impact are you hoping to make in your first 6 months?

A: There are huge opportunities ahead of us that I’m excited to be a part of. My aims are to:

  • Increase our share of wallet with existing clients
  • Win new customers in markets where we’re already credible | plus break new markets.
  • Build out the team with the right talent to scale and allow us to promote from within more.
  • Expand into complementary technologies that align with our two core vendors — Cisco and Microsoft .

Q: What values do you see in action here so far?

A: Trust, excellence and agility.  Our customers, whether existing, or new trust our excellent knowledge and sales specialists when it comes to the Cisco | Microsoft portfolio.

Agility gives us a competitive edge by quickly understanding customer needs, adapting our approach, and delivering value faster than our competition.

Q: Have you noticed anything different here compared to past companies that makes you feel like you belong?

A: Cisilion felt like a place where I could make an impactful difference. As mentioned, I felt connected with their drive to go ‘beyond expectations’.

Q: What small gesture or interaction has made a big impression on you so far?

Before I joined the business, I met with Nick and Craige for breakfast. I had a green juice pre food.

When I was away on holiday (yet again pre-joining) they found out where I was staying and paid for some green juices to arrive at breakfast for my partner and I, plus a bottle of Champayne and a card welcoming me to the team.

A small, personal gesture, that went a long way.

Q: If an ex-colleague asked you why you joined, what would you say?

A: For the team’s dedication to their clients and the culture and ambition that surrounds that.

Their close partnerships with Microsoft and Cisco was also a major factor. They are two of the biggest forces shaping enterprise connectivity, collaboration, cloud, and cybersecurity deeply embedded in their ecosystems. With decades-long partnerships, elite accreditations, and a team of certified experts, Cisilion are trusted to deliver some of the most critical digital transformations in the market. They are specialists as opposed to generalists.

Q: What would you tell someone thinking about applying here?

A: “Do it. This is a place where excellence isn’t just a buzzword — it’s the standard. You’ll be trusted to deliver, supported to grow, and rewarded when you go the extra mile. It’s fast-paced, agile, and full of opportunity for people who want to make a positive impact  and be recognised for it.”
