Cisilion’s Bridges Trek wins Cisco Do Good Award

Cisco Do Good Awards 2020

Community Impact Award

Cisilion is thrilled to have won the Community Impact Award at the 2020 Cisco Do Good Awards.

The recognition follows Cisilion and Cisco‘s fundraising efforts which saw a 100 strong team from across the IT industry who completed the 25km Thames Bridges Trek, raising over £26,000 for Crisis, the national charity for homeless people.

Crisis will use the funds raised by players to help extend the support it offers to people who are homeless, or at risk of homelessness. This partnership is already delivering important service transformation, helping many more people with complex needs take their first steps away from homelessness.

Hannah Taylor, Marketing Director at Cisilion said: “I am so proud of #TeamCisilion, Cisco and all the other Bridge Trekkers in the IT Community for all their efforts in making this event such a success for Crisis!”

“Hopefully this recognition cements this as one of the many events to support Cisco’s global initiatives to end homelessness. Let’s take the Bridges Trek to a global scale and build a bridge to end homelessness.”
