Can your network handle the data flows AI demands – and can you see what’s happening? Every AI ambition and growth plan ultimately runs on the network beneath it. We modernise data centre, campus and edge into one AI-ready fabric, where performance, sovereignty and observability are built in from day one.

Turn your network from a constraint into an engine for growth.

AI, cloud and hybrid work are reshaping network demand.

AI is moving from pilot to production, and networks now have to absorb east-west GPU traffic and low-latency inference. Refresh cycles are tied to Wi-Fi 7 and 6 GHz. Wireless and switching estates are ageing past end-of-support, quietly raising operational risk. And cyber insurance, NIS2 and audit needs are forcing identity-led access and segmentation across LAN, WLAN and IoT.

These forces are converging into a 2026–2028 refresh window – the organisations that plan for it modernise once, deliberately; the rest react to it under pressure.

The network is where AI ambition and business growth either accelerate or stall. Get the foundation right – performance and observability designed in, not bolted on – and everything you build on top of it moves faster.

Four familiar problems. Four deliberate answers.

Network infrastructure questions, answered plainly.

What makes a network "AI-ready", and does ours need to be?

AI changes network traffic fundamentally. Training and inference create heavy east-west (server-to-server) traffic and demand low, predictable latency – patterns most networks built for office and internet traffic were never designed for. An AI-ready fabric handles those flows, and just as importantly lets you see into them with full observability.

If AI is anywhere on your roadmap, the network is one of the first things to get right, because retrofitting it later is far more disruptive than designing for it now.

Why is now being called a network "refresh window"?

Several forces are converging on 2026–2028: AI moving from pilot to production, the Wi-Fi 7 and 6 GHz transition, a wave of wireless and switching estates reaching end-of-support, and rising audit and segmentation pressure from cyber insurance and NIS2.

Individually each is manageable; together they mean most organisations will be refreshing infrastructure in this window anyway. Planning for it means you modernise once, deliberately, rather than reacting to failures and end-of-life under pressure.

Do we have to replace everything at once?

No – and usually you shouldn’t. Our approach is to optimise before you replace: refresh what matters, protect what still works, and prioritise investment by risk and value.

The assessment gives you an evidenced view of lifecycle and risk so spend goes where it counts, and the design phase sets a phased roadmap so modernisation happens with minimal disruption rather than in one big-bang cutover.

We run a mix of Cisco and other vendors. Can you help?

Yes. We’re Cisco specialists across campus, wireless, WAN and data centre, and we integrate with Microsoft Azure (Arc, Stack HCI, Azure Monitor) by design – plus other platforms already in your estate.

The goal is one unified operating model with end-to-end visibility, not another silo. Where rationalising vendors reduces cost and complexity we’ll advise it; where it doesn’t, we integrate what you have.

How do you improve visibility across the whole network?

Observability is designed in, not added afterwards. Using tools like ThousandEyes, Catalyst Center and cloud-native monitoring, we give you full-stack visibility from user to application across campus, cloud, SaaS, internet and edge – so issues are identified earlier, manual investigation is reduced, and operational resilience improves.

It’s the “can we see what’s happening?” half of the AI-ready question, and it’s central to how we design and manage.

What does working with Cisilion actually involve?

It starts with the Network Assessment, which gives you an evidenced view of performance, lifecycle, risk and AI-readiness with no obligation.

From there, our five-step approach takes you through design, delivery, adoption and 0 if you want it – AI-assisted, human-led managed network operations. You choose how far along that path you’d like our support to go.

Design the right network platform before you scale it.
