Enabling Secure Business Separation Without Operational Risk
As part of a strategic divestiture, Bradshaw Taylor needed to separate the Le Chameau business into an independently managed Microsoft 365 tenant. The challenge was delivering a full tenant-to-tenant migration within a fixed timeframe while protecting business continuity, user experience and security across both organisations.
Cisilion was selected to lead the programme due to its deep Microsoft expertise and proven experience delivering complex tenant separations under pressure.
Who are Bradshaw Taylor?
Bradshaw Taylor is a premium brand group operating across high-end outdoor and lifestyle markets. Managing a portfolio of established brands, the organisation oversees product development, distribution and commercial operations within a shared technology environment designed to support collaboration and growth.
As the organisation evolved, the divestiture of Le Chameau required a clear technology separation to allow both businesses to operate securely and autonomously from day one.
Navigating a complex tenant separation
Full Microsoft 365 tenant separation under time pressure
The divestiture required the complete separation of users, workloads, shared mailboxes and domains into a standalone Microsoft 365 tenant.
Domain migration added complexity, particularly as primary UPNs could not be retained across tenants. All activity needed to be completed within a tightly controlled change window.
Mixed device estate and identity complexity
The existing environment included a combination of Entra-joined, domain-joined and unmanaged devices.
Careful sequencing was essential to preserve user profiles, maintain predictable sign-in behaviour and protect identity integrity throughout the migration.
Coordination with ERP and third-party systems
The Microsoft 365 separation needed to align with parallel ERP and third-party system migrations. This required precise orchestration to minimise risk while maintaining service continuity across both organisations.
The Solution
Cisilion designed and delivered a carefully sequenced programme to support the full separation of Le Chameau into an independent Microsoft 365 tenant, ensuring operational stability at every stage.
Key elements of the solution included:
