Role Overview

Consultants are responsible for Consultancy and Technical Delivery activities. It is worth noting that for most Microsoft services the Delivery Consultant is expected to assist the Senior Consultant through the solution design Process and support Project Delivery. Core responsibilities are:

  • Assist with gathering requirements and technical information
  • Collaborating with Senior Consultants in producing end state solutions
  • Implement Work Packages and Tasks under direction of Project Manager and Senior Delivery Consultant
  • Document implementation and migration activities

 


Key Responsibilities

Cisilion are looking for a Microsoft Solutions Consultant to join our growing Microsoft Consultancy and Delivery Team. The key responsibilities for this delivery focused role are as follows:

  • Assist the technical design, implementation, validation, and handover to customer/support teams for unified communications on-premises, cloud and hybrid Microsoft solutions including but not limited to: –
    • Skype for Business Server 2015/2019 with background in voice deployments
    • Office 365 Configuration – including Exchange, Skype for Business and Teams in both online and hybrid deployments – voice experience is required
    • Azure Active Directory and Azure AD Connect understanding is advantageous
    • On-Premises Services such as Windows Server (2012R2+), SQL Server (2014)
    • Ribbon or AudioCodes gateway and SBC deployment and configuration experience
    • Understanding of Microsoft UC eco system, including meeting rooms and collaboration devices
    • Supporting migrations of both legacy PBX solution and Skype for Business to Teams
  • Be able to work independently and cross-collaborate, working in a fast-paced environment where technology and customer requirements change regularly
  • Demonstrate a technical aptitude for providing extraordinary customer service, be able to influence while problem solving and build client and partner relationships
  • Possess a passion for continuous learning, strong problem-solving skills, critical thinking, and good judgement
  • Work with other key areas of the business to support cross-training/up-skilling as required
  • Be able to apply product & technology knowledge to improve Microsoft products and the customer experience

  • Assisting with delivery of projects to scope and budget
  • Smooth hand over to customer or Cisilion support teams
  • Seeking ways to “package” work to reduce effort and replication

 


Skills and Experience

  • Background in supporting one or more of the following Microsoft UC technologies is required: Teams, Skype for Business Online and\or Server
  • Supporting unified communications workload migrations into Microsoft Teams including voice services
  • Microsoft Teams Direct Routing and Calling Plans
  • Microsoft Phone System features and configuration
  • Microsoft Teams Meeting Rooms and Devices (Poly, Yealink and\or AudioCodes)
  • Ribbon or AudioCodes gateway and SBC deployment and configuration
  • Understanding\background in telecoms including SIP and SRTP/RTP knowledge
  • Understanding of networks and firewall concepts
  • Have completed MS-700 Certification
