Our Charity of the Year: Macmillan Cancer Support

We are extremely proud to announce that this year our charity partner is Macmillan Cancer Support. This wonderful charity was voted for by our employees here at Cisilion.

About Macmillan

Macmillan was founded around 100 years ago when having cancer was a taboo subject, meaning there was not a lot of support for those diagnosed or dealing with a loved one’s diagnosis. Their values ‘with strength’, ‘with heart’ and ‘with ambition’ show the strides they are making to change the world of cancer.  Not only do they have trained health professionals, but they also do such honourable work for the cancer community, including support groups, volunteer services and grants.

They’re here to help everyone with cancer live life as fully as they can, by providing physical, financial and emotional support.

What Cisilion has planned

Throughout the year, #TeamCisilion will be supporting Macmillan organised events as well as organising some of our own internally. From Mighty Hikes to our annual Summer Step Challenge, Coffee Mornings and a London to Leatherhead Office Walk, there will be something for all #TeamCisilion to get involved in and fundraise for.

Look out throughout the year for loads of exciting updates and the challenges we rise to in aid of Macmillan.

We recently hosted a Macmillan coffee morning to launch the start of our fundraising.
