The following notes still apply to the generation and editing of all pages.

General notes & guidelines on applying styles

Basically don't use anything except the defined styles available to you within Contribute but follow this guideline here for page composition.

Mostly, you'll only have to type content directly into the allocated areas. It's probably worth following the this page. Use a shortish descriptive paragraph highlighted in bold. Use bold sparingly and with the embolded tool in Contribute. The style for the bold element also applies the green colouring used here. Never try to re-colour any copy directly. These are all controlled by one single source file (the gooee.css stylesheet). It's essential not to place extra styling elements on the page because I'll update them all from that one source file.

Heading style 2

Let me know if you need any other hierarchal styles in addition to Heading 1, Heading 2, etc formatting options available in your style window. These, like all the styles are defined in the cenral style sheet - which I will update directly.

For the timebeing use a double return for paragraph spacing. I will come back to all this later.

Tables/split column options: 3 columns

It might well be worth you leaving any split-column option until after you have draft copy on all pages - as Mike and I will want to take a view on final layouts when we can see what kind of content you come up with.

You can copy and paste this kind of table or insert new table layouts from the insert menu but again, I would stress not to worry about exact layouts/styling. That's our job and any incorrectly applied styles will have to be removed manually. If in doubt, leave it out.

Simply copy and paste either tables into your existing page.
