Local Authorities - Government Connect (CoCo)

By the 31st December all contracts were to be submitted, CoCo approval done and the GCSx circuit activated. If you have not been Coco approved now is the time to contact us to help you get this done quickly and easily.

For local authorities who obtained CoCo approval it is now up to the you to complete the rest of the work required to ensure business is LIVE over GCSx.

Action Required by 31st March 2009:

• Procure, configure and test local hardware
• Train Staff
• Initiate services over GCSx

Then you will need to have a 12-monthly IT Health Check done, this must include:

• Network summary that will identify all IP addressable devices
• External gateway penetration testing
• Network Analysis, exploitable switches, gateways
• Vulnerability analysis, patch levels, poor passwords, services used
• Exploitation (Optional)
• Summary Report with recommendations and an annex with comprehensive detail
